About The Role As an experienced Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data within Corporate accounts through journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis. Your responsibilities will span multiple aspects of accounting and financial management, requiring a strong understanding of accounting principles. You will cooperate with different parties in the process of financial statements preparation, review of postings accuracy, and support for statutory audits. The results of your work must ensure accurate month-end close and reliable financial information for key stakeholders within the organization. You will report to the Senior Manager EMEA GAC. This is a Hybrid position, with accessible commuting options to our offices located in Monfalcone, Italy. Key Responsibilities Monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger journal bookings and month-end close review. Ensure compliance with accounting standards (US GAAP & Local GAAP) and company policies in all journal booking activities. Ensure all month-end close entries are posted as required. Provide support and insights to address discrepancies or issues in the trial balance. Perform reconciliations, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data. Investigate and resolve discrepancies identified during reconciliation. Obtain balance confirmations and proactively resolve discrepancies. Collaborate with relevant teams to rectify discrepancies. Assist with audits and financial statement preparation. Conduct ad hoc analyses of financial information as needed. Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in accounting or finance. Degree in Accounting. Italian CA or equivalent qualification. Expert user of Excel. Good written and spoken English skills. Experience with enterprise systems such as SAP and Quasar X.
