Job Description

Report to: Sales Director / COO Responsibilities: 1. Project Responsibilities Lead the conceptual and detailed design of HVAC & R systems, including load calculations, equipment selection, control strategies, and energy optimization. Develop customized technical solutions based on client requirements, site conditions, and sustainability goals. Prepare and review engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation using CAD and design software. Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, and system audits to support solution development. Ensure all designs comply with regional codes, standards (e.g., SS 553:2016A1:2017, SS 554:2016A1:2021), and environmental regulations . Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure design integrity and technical excellence throughout the project lifecycle. 2. Sales Responsibilities Take full ownership of existing customer accounts , ensuring satisfaction and growth. Identify and develop new customer accounts in targeted market segments. Conduct market surveys to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning. Prepare and deliver technical presentations to consultants, developers, and owners. Develop and execute sales plans and forecasts , aligned with company goals. Manage day-to-day customer inquiries , issues, and relationship-building activities. Communicate all relevant information and insights to management in a timely and structured manner. Contribute to the development of marketing tools and content , including website updates, social media, brochures, datasheets, and specification sheets. Promote innovative technologies and energy-efficient solutions to meet client needs and sustainability goals. Attend client and project meetings to support sales and project alignment. Requirements: A recognized relevant academic degree in engineering. 5-10 years of experience in technical sales experience, selling products and solutions in the HVAC & Ref industry. Strong knowledge of HVAC standards (e.g., SS 553:2016A1:2017, SS 554:2016A1:2021) and energy efficiency practices. Proficient in HVAC design software. Highly interested in the commercial element of engineering while being technically adept. Ambition to build and be part of a dynamic sales team, with a strong technical background. Ambition and desire to have a progressive and exciting career. Proactiveness and willingness to learn. Drive with enthusiasm to succeed in tasks. Being positive, outgoing, energetic and resilient. Good communication skills and ability to foster good personal relations. Exhibit a “team player” mentality and can priorities tasks/opportunity and think strategically.
