Pay Information $1,880 to $2,080 per week About The Position ARMStaffing is looking for RN - Oncology in Chapel Hill, North Carolina Shift: 4x10 Days Unit Details: 4573*4573 :Oncology Op Infusion Center*UNC Medical Center - UNC Health Job Description: ARMStaffing is seeking compassionate and skilled Oncology Registered Nurses (Oncology RNs) for travel and local contract opportunities across the U.S. As an Oncology RN, you’ll provide specialized care for patients undergoing cancer treatment, supporting them physically and emotionally throughout their healthcare journey. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who are passionate about delivering holistic, high-quality oncology care in hospital or outpatient settings. Key Responsibilities: • Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other cancer-related treatments following established protocols • Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide supportive care throughout treatment cycles • Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effect management, and disease progression • Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems (e.g., EPIC, Cerner) • Provide emotional support and advocate for patients coping with complex diagnoses Qualifications: • Active RN license (compact or state-specific) • Minimum 1–2 years of oncology nursing experience required • BLS certification required; ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification strongly preferred • Familiarity with chemotherapy protocols, central lines, and infusion pumps • Excellent communication, assessment, and patient advocacy skills At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
