Intern - Athletic Trainer
Job Location
Hurricane, UT, United States
Job Description
While applications are welcome from all qualified candidates, we are particularly interested in interns based in Utah or the Las Vegas area due to proximity to campus and the potential for easier integration into the program.
This is an unpaid or stipend based internship. Housing and meals may be offered for the right candidate. At the end of the internship, there may be an opportunity for employment with the program, based on performance and organizational needs. Reporting directly to the Head Trainer, the Intern Trainer will assist with daily taping, strapping, and injury prevention routines. Additional responsibilities include supporting player recovery protocols—such as cold tub management, guided stretching, and rehab exercises—as well as tracking recovery metrics and maintaining a clean and fully equipped training environment. The role also requires availability for home and away events, offering valuable sideline experience.
