DIESEL ENGINE SPECIALIST – FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN (STEELPOORT)

Minimum Requirements Trade Test Certificate (26D). Completed Apprenticeship (3 phases signed off). Matric Certificate. Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role. Hands-on experience with engines such as Deutz, Cummins, John Deere, CAT, or similar. Strong hydraulic knowledge. Advantages Experience working on TMM equipment (e.g., Scoops, Dump Trucks, Utility Vehicles, Drill Rigs). Previous mining or underground field service experience. Basic fault-finding skills in hydraulics and auto-electrical systems. Experience operating earthmoving or mining machinery. Bilingual: Fluent in English and Afrikaans (spoken and written). Familiarity with mine health and safety legislation and general standards.
