Social network you want to login/join with: For our dynamic growing, innovative Brands division within an already established big generic International pharmaceutical company, we are looking for an experienced Medical Affairs field professional who dares to look outside the clear-cut frames of a common big pharma MSL job and who wants to operate in an autonomous entrepreneurial way. This job offers you the opportunity to develop in the broadest sense by being engaged in all aspects of the business and manage your own daily work. You will join a team of 3 Medical Managers in Italy, and you will be responsible for the Medical Affairs strategy and execution of medical projects. You will also provide Medical Affairs support to the Sales and Marketing colleagues, with a demonstrable affinity for identifying commercial opportunities. You live in Italy and are able to speak English because of communication with the European Management team. You will report to the Lead Medical Managers Europe, located in various European locations, with the European offices in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Major tasks & responsibilities Develop Medical Affairs strategy and execute scientific projects such as publications and advisory boards. Identify and build relationships with country KOLs, influencers, and healthcare leaders using evidence-based information. Support the development and launch of products through scientific exchange in melanoma. Assist with Early Access Program requests from HCPs in Italy for melanoma patients. Support business needs related to Odomzo (sonidegib) for locally advanced basal cell carcinoma in Italy. Lead the approval process for investigator-initiated trials and monitor their progress. Disseminate clinical and scientific information regarding marketed and pipeline compounds ethically and timely. Build connections with national, regional, and local networks in Derma-oncology and potential future TAs. Communicate emerging data to experts and respond to healthcare professional inquiries. Assist colleagues in organizing HCP events by providing medical content support. Education & Qualifications (Graduate- Post Graduate) Mandatory: (Bio)medical or scientific academic degree. Driver’s license. Minimum of 3 years of MSL or Medical Manager experience in the innovative pharmaceutical industry. At least 1 year of experience in a commercial function within the pharmaceutical industry. Mandatory: Native Italian and fluent in English. Desirable: Dermatology or Oncology experience. Desirable: Experience with Early Access Programs in Italy. Technical skills & job-specific competencies Strong scientific knowledge. Strategic thinking abilities. Knowledge of Dermatology or Oncology. Understanding of regulatory environment and compliance. Effective teaching and presentation skills. Creative mindset and positive attitude towards challenges.
