Position: Cardiovascular FEA Engineer Experience Range: 2 to 5 yrs Job Location: Bangalore Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days remote) Position Type: Full-time or 6-month internship-to-hire Join our medical device team to develop advanced finite element analysis simulations for cardiac devices. Opportunity to impact cardiovascular care through computational modeling. Role Description: Serve as primary FEA modeling resource for cardiac device-tissue interactions using 3D heart models: Develop complex tissue-device interaction models with nonlinear materials Execute parametric studies across varied anatomies Support validation against experimental data Contribute to in-house cardiac device simulation capabilities Required Qualifications: MS/PhD in Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering or related field Strong expertise in solid mechanics, particularly nonlinear material behavior, finite deformation and contact Proven analytical skills and problem-solving ability Excellent communication skills Research experience with published results Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiovascular mechanics modeling Proficiency with FEA software (ABAQUS, ANSYS, or similar) Knowledge of hyperelastic/viscoelastic material models Contact mechanics' experience in biological systems Why Join Us: Work on cutting-edge medical technology Build technical capabilities with significant autonomy Clear growth path as the team expands Competitive compensation
