Art Teacher

Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and creative Art and Craft Teacher for Primary Grades (PRT) who can inspire young minds and foster creativity through engaging, hands-on artistic experiences. The ideal candidate should be adept in a wide range of art techniques and should be able to integrate art into interdisciplinary learning. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging Art & Craft lessons for Grades I to V. Develop age-appropriate projects that stimulate creativity and self-expression. Teach techniques in drawing, painting, clay modeling, paper craft, and recycled art. Display student artwork throughout the school and organize exhibitions or art-related events. Incorporate seasonal themes, festivals, and school events into creative assignments. Maintain classroom materials and ensure a safe and inclusive environment. Collaborate with other teachers to integrate art with other subjects when possible. Monitor and assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback. Encourage each child’s artistic development and appreciation of aesthetics. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts / Visual Arts or relevant field. B.Ed. preferred (not mandatory for candidates with strong creative background). Prior experience teaching Art & Craft at the primary level. Strong command over various art mediums and craft techniques. Patient, enthusiastic, and creative with excellent classroom management skills. Ability to adapt lessons for different learning styles and abilities.
