Position Summary: As an HR Business Partner for Western Europe, you will be a strategic leader and trusted advisor to the General Manager and Convergint Technology Center (CTC) management on all HR-related matters. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring the smooth, compliant, and efficient handling of any employee relations topics, while maintaining confidentiality at all times and working with minimal supervision. What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities): As an HR Business Partner, you will: Strategic HR Partnership: Advise and consult with Regional General Managers and CTC management, integrating HR strategy with overall business objectives to support our mission of becoming an employer of choice. HR Program Development & Policy Alignment: Analyse HR trends and metrics within the region, developing and adapting HR programs and policies, including compensation and benefits recommendations, to align with business strategy and local requirements while ensuring compliance with global processes. Colleague Lifecycle Management: Advise and support Managers and Colleagues throughout the entire employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition, onboarding, and compensation reviews to performance management, individual development plans, disciplinary actions, performance improvement processes, termination, and offboarding. Operational Oversight: Oversee the day-to-day administration of HR support, including policy interpretation, payroll, compensation, and benefits. Establish and maintain efficient communication and administration processes within HR. Legal Compliance: Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to colleague management, reduce legal risks, and ensure regulatory compliance, collaborating with the legal department and employee representatives as needed. Communication & Culture: Collaborate with management to effectively communicate HR policies, procedures, programs, and laws. Determine and recommend colleague relations practices to foster a positive employment relationship and promote company values and beliefs, cultivating high morale and motivation. Compensation & Benefits Support: Provide analysis and guidance on best practices for compensation and benefits, supporting any necessary changes and assisting HR administrators in establishing efficient communication and administrative processes. Learning & Development: Deliver Leadership and Human Resource training within the region. Acquisition Integration: Coordinate all employment-related activities for acquisitions, including consultation of employee representatives, benefit and compensation analysis, and onboarding activities. HR Program Champion: Champion one to two HR programs, such as diversity and inclusion initiatives or social media strategies. Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with the VP HR Europe and General Managers in the region. Compliance & Documentation: Support the organisation’s local Whistleblowing processes and monitor and update requirements for ISO documentation of processes, procedures, policies, and forms. Team Collaboration: Actively participate in team-building exercises and assist with overflow project-related work, administration, or office requirements, demonstrating flexibility as needed. Analytical Mindset: Strong financial and analytical skills to address challenges, evaluate opportunities, and maximise profitability. Tech Savviness: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and comfort with CRM tools. Knowledge of UKG and Workday is a plus. Diligent & Discreet: A diligent and diplomatic approach, maintaining confidentiality in all matters. Experience & Qualifications: Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree with a specialisation in Human Resources is required. Minimum Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience as an HR Business Partner in an international work environment is required. Language Requirements: Fluency in English and French is required. Proficiency in Dutch and Spanish is a plus. Work Environment: This role is based in Western Europe, requiring regular travel across the region.
