Principal Software Engineer

Role Overview: We are looking for a seasoned Principal Software Engineer to lead and evolve our DevOps practices, ensuring efficient, secure, and scalable software delivery. This role requires deep technical expertise in automation, cloud infrastructure (especially AWS), and CI/CD pipeline management. The ideal candidate will be a proactive collaborator, working closely with engineering and product teams to design robust solutions while maintaining high standards of security, compliance, and documentation. Key Responsibilities: Lead DevOps Practices: Design, implement, and continuously improve automation and software delivery pipelines. Infrastructure Management: Oversee and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing AWS infrastructure and CI/CD environments. Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering and product teams to identify needs and develop robust, scalable solutions. Security & Compliance: Implement industry-standard security frameworks and ensure compliance with relevant policies and standards. Documentation : Maintain detailed and up-to-date technical documentation to support system maintenance and future development. Required Skills & Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 9 years in DevOps or infrastructure engineering with a proven track record of delivering automated solutions. Programming/Scripting : Python, Unix/Linux CI/CD Tools : Jenkins, Maven, Gradle Containerization : Docker, Kubernetes Configuration Management : Puppet, Chef, Ansible Cloud Platforms : AWS (mandatory), Azure (preferred) Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
