Outdoor Learning Instructor/Teacher (with Duke of Edinburgh responsibilities) Contract type: Full Time, Permanent, Term Time onlySalary: Highly Competitive (dependent on experience and qualifications)Hours: Mon-Thurs 8.15am-4.30pm, Fri 8.15am-3.15pmStart date: 26th August 2025Your new roleOur pupils are exceptional. We are excited to offer the opportunity to join our amazing team on a permanent basis and work with pupils who have a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.We are seeking a passionate and experienced Outdoor Learning Instructor/Teacher to join our dedicated team. This exciting role combines the delivery of high-quality, therapeutic outdoor learning programmes for pupils with SEMH needs across Key Stages 2, 3, and 4, with the leadership and coordination of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award scheme for our Key Stage 4 pupils. You will be responsible for developing and creating, engaging and inspiring outdoor learning experiences that cater to the specific needs of our pupils, promoting their emotional well-being, social development, and academic progress, alongside guiding and supporting pupils through their DofE journeys.The successful candidate will be expected to make a real and positive impact to the lives of children. You will be able to successfully build trusting student relationships and motivate pupils. Reliance is a key trait for all our staff.
