Before & After School Club Manager Annual Salary: £32,512 - £34,654 (pro-rata) Location: Surrey Job Type: Part-time (2:30pm – 6:15pm, Monday – Friday, term time only) Contract Type: Permanent Reed Education are representing an oversubscribed three-form entry Infant school, as the Before & After School Club Manager. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the Club, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of pupils, and leading a team to provide engaging activities. The successful candidate will be part of a nurturing and well-supported staff environment, with opportunities for professional development. Day-to-day of the role: Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities to support pupils’ development. Supervise and support a team of staff in the execution of activities and ensure adherence to school policies. Monitor and manage health and safety within the club, responding to incidents and maintaining records as per school procedures. Ensure all club policies are up-to-date and consistently implemented. Manage resources necessary for club activities, including maintenance and safety of equipment. Communicate effectively with pupils, parents, and staff, maintaining high standards of professional conduct. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience in managing educational or childcare programs. Strong leadership skills and experience in staff management. Proficient in planning and organising activities suitable for young children. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a school setting. Designated Safeguarding Lead qualification or willingness to train. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
