Head / Director of Social Media Based in the UAE | Global Brand | High-impact leadership role We’re partnering with a world-renowned global brand that’s entering a bold new era of expansion. As part of this exciting transformation, we’re seeking a Social Media Lead to shape and execute a powerful cross-channel strategy that drives brand engagement and measurable performance. Team leadership: Managing a high-performing team of social media experts Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and lead a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with broader marketing goals. Establish a clear playbook to drive growth and performance across platforms. Content & Campaigns: Oversee the creation of innovative, brand-aligned content that drives results. Proactively develop creative ideas and maintain a forward-planned content calendar. Brand Stewardship: Ensure the brand's tone and identity are consistently and creatively represented across all social platforms. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a senior advisor on social best practices to internal and external teams, aligning strategy with business objectives. Data & Performance: Define KPIs, analyse results, and optimise strategies for maximum ROI. Event Activation: Lead social media planning and activation for major campaigns and global events, including influencer strategy and real-time content delivery. Project Management: Oversee delivery of key initiatives and ensure high standards in execution. Agency Oversight: Manage global and regional social media agencies, ensuring their outputs align with brand vision and performance expectations. Community Insight: Monitor sentiment and trends, working closely with the online community team to generate actionable insights. Innovation: Stay ahead of trends and emerging platforms to continually elevate social strategy. Influencer Strategy: Lead evaluation and partnerships with influencers to ensure alignment with brand values and impact. What We’re Looking For Experience: Minimum 10 years in social media within a global brand or leading digital agency Leadership: Proven experience building and managing high-performing teams Collaboration: Adept at working cross-functionally with senior stakeholders Strategic mindset: Analytical, commercially driven, and forward-thinking Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent - must hold certificates
