Job Description
This position is based on a Cruise Ship Education and Experience Requirements Completed medical education and hold a medical degree from a recognized college or university. Hold a current valid medical license. Board certification or similar international certification in Plastic Surgery or Dermatology preferred but not required. Comfortable with giving presentations / speaking in front of large groups. Fluency in English. Strong interpersonal skills. Reports to: Spa Manager Job Summary The Medi-Spa Physician administers cosmetic medical procedures to onboard guests. They must possess the clinical knowledge to administer these procedures safely and effectively, and be able to explain all aspects of the products and services accurately to guests. They should have excellent communication skills and be able to provide aesthetic medical solutions to address guests' concerns. They will work with the Medi-Spa Sales Consultant, who assists with sales, marketing, and promotional activities, and may translate for the Physician if necessary. The Physician is expected to learn the spa services and products to promote them effectively, review and approve all treatment plans organized by the Sales Consultant. Position Requirements Ability to work independently and promote services actively. Work closely with the Medi-Spa Sales Consultant. Enthusiasm and excellent customer service skills. Effective presentation skills related to medi-spa services. Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly, outgoing personality. Excellent communication and listening skills. Basic computer knowledge. Team player. Responsibilities Be punctual and professional for all appointments. Provide consistent, professional medi-spa services following protocols. Conduct follow-up as needed. Support scheduling and be flexible with hours. Care for equipment and manage supplies for cost control. Follow pricing policies. Complete and store medical records securely for the required period. Cross-promote spa services. Maintain sanitation and sterilization standards. Clean and restock treatment rooms. Manage inventory of medical products and supplies. Report incidents involving staff or guests to management. Handle guest questions and concerns professionally. Respond promptly to guest requests. Maintain a positive attitude and support a quality work environment. Participate in training and staff meetings, including embarkation and sea days. Assist in spa operations and train new staff in medi-spa services and promotions. Review guest consultation information and obtain consent forms prior to treatments. Review aftercare instructions and schedule follow-up appointments. Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, inviting, and ready for guests at all times. J-18808-Ljbffr
