Responsibilities Summary: The Clinical Program Director oversees the programs department, ensuring goals and objectives are met according to corporate policy and contractual scope. They are responsible for the quality of services provided to inmates and work with the Facility Administrator to address deficiencies and improve programs. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure proper processing of inmates for programmatic needs and that all inmates receive quality services compliant with federal regulations and standards. Assist in preparing program proposals. Develop and revise policies related to program operations, ensuring compliance with company and client standards. Assess staff needs and provide supervision and training accordingly. Provide case consultations and one-on-one counseling for difficult inmates or during serious incidents. Supervise all program staff, including Education Director, Case Management Coordinator, Unit Managers, and Inmate Records. Conduct departmental staff performance reviews. Serve on training, budget, and policy review committees. Assist management in establishing long-term plans and schedules to meet facility goals. Respond to significant incidents on a 24/7 basis. May serve as Deputy Warden in their absence. Perform additional duties as needed for effective facility operation. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: PhD in Clinical Psychology, Psychiatric Social Work, behavioral science, therapy, or related field, with experience in correctional security and rehabilitative programs. At least five (5) years managing correctional education programs or three (3) years in a supervisory role. College coursework and advanced training in behavioral sciences, correctional services, or related fields. Knowledge of program objectives, policies, procedures, correctional laws, court orders, and management of secure correctional facilities. Ability to interpret policies and apply them appropriately.
