The ideal candidate will be responsible for · Managing and maintaining the school library, including cataloguing, issuing, and shelving of books and resources. · Assisting students and teachers in effectively accessing and utilizing library materials. · Organizing reading programs, book fairs, and other literacy-enhancing activities. · Maintaining accurate records and registers in accordance with school policies. · Creating and maintaining a welcoming, resource-rich, and disciplined library environment. · Staying updated with new publications and recommending relevant additions to the collection. · Supporting the integration of library resources into the overall school curriculum. · Encouraging a culture of reading, research, and independent learning among students of all age groups.
