DGM- Social Media Marketing

The Social Media Head leads the end-to-end social media strategy, platform innovation, content excellence, and performance marketing integration. This role demands strategic leadership, creative storytelling, data-backed decisions, and team management to build a strong brand presence across platforms. Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Ownership Define social media strategy across platforms (Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.) Drive alignment with business goals: brand building, engagement, commerce, advocacy Build content pillars for product, culture, creator, and campaign storytelling 2. Content & Campaign Execution Oversee always-on content, campaign bursts, creator IPS, and seasonal drops Drive a video-first strategy (reels, YouTube shorts, lives, UGC) Supervise content calendar, brand voice, design and copy tone 3. Influencer & Community Ecosystem Build long-term creator and influencer programs Co-create with stylists, celebrities, and content creators Lead online community growth, moderation, and engagement 4. Performance & Analytics Define and track KPIS: reach, engagement, sentiment, traffic, leads Leverage tools like Meta Suite, Sprout, Brand watch, Google Analytics Optimise campaigns based on data insights and trends 5. Innovation & Platform Thinking Pioneer content formats and platform innovations (AI, AR, shoppable videos) Experiment with emerging platforms and cultural trends Run social listening and trendspotting initiatives 6. Team & Partner Leadership Lead internal teams and external agencies (creative media) Set governance standards for tone, response, crisis management Train teams on evolving platforms and creative best practices Key Skills & Experience: 10–15 years in digital/social media, with at least 3 years in a leadership role Proven ability to scale social media presence for lifestyle/consumer brands Strong grasp of storytelling, platform algorithms, creator economy, and analytics Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
