Job Description

Job Title: Strategy and Governance Manager Location: Chennai, Bengaluru or Noida Experience: 9 years of experience required Job Summary: The role involves working and coordinating with R&C functions to develop executable plans with detailed milestones and timelines for ensuring governance, reviews, change management and proactively identifying and escalating risks to R&C plans. Key Responsibilities: Ability to understand R&C strategy and operation plans and to ensure they include detailed governance milestones and timelines, and conduct periodic reviews with R&C functions to identify and escalate risks. Establish and enforce rigorous reporting, backup, and record-keeping practices for transparency and accountability. Collaborate with functional SPOCs to upload updates and closure evidence. Draft minutes, manage actionable items, ensure timely follow-ups, and provide cadence updates. Periodically publish comprehensive risk governance reports to stakeholders by collecting and analyzing data, summarizing key findings, and presenting insights with relevant metrics, risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and progress updates. Facilitate the maintenance of the risk management tool for all deliverables. Track progress on the implementation of best practices, processes, and standards/tools. Drive process improvement, streamlining, and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Lead and manage the PMO team, if applicable. Required qualifications and skill sets: Graduate or master's degree in IT, Risk Management, Business Management, or a related field. Proficiency in risk management planning, governance, monitoring, reporting, and strong organizational, analytical, strategic thinking, solution mindset, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Requires attention to detail, data management, and robust documentation processes. Requires excellent communication (written and verbal), time management, ability to handle conflicting situations, and interpersonal skills. Requires strong presentation, stakeholder management, and the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. Requires skills in process analysis, automation technologies, and continuous improvement methodologies. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, workflow-based tools, BI tools, PowerPoint, etc. ISO 27001, CRISC, ISO 31000, or other industry-recognized certificates in Information Security or Risk Management or Project management training or PMP certification, and/or Six Sigma preferred.
