Job Title: Physician Job Specialty: Anesthesiologist Job Duration: 13 months Shift: Varied 7 AM-3 PM, 7 AM-5 PM, with weekday in-house call (5 PM-7 AM) and in-house weekend coverage Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Not specified License: Florida Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (Must be American Heart Association) Must-Have: Board Certified or Board Eligible (only within 5 years of graduation, and if between 3-5 years, a detailed explanation is required) Job Description: - No providers who have worked for any affiliated sites within the past 12 months or within a 75-mile radius of the site - New candidates must live outside a 75-mile radius of the site - All candidates must be from out of state - Required to do call, nights, or weekends; cannot be days only - 30-hours of day coverage per week with call or weekend or nights; most shifts are 10 or 12 hours - Rush start available with temps within 2-3 weeks for clean, Florida licensed clinicians - Cross credentialing at all sites - Types of cases include Ortho, General Surgery, Vascular, Eyes, Urology, Neuro, EP, Plastics, OBGYN, Thoracic, ENT, OMFS, Pain, GI - Level II Trauma, no cardiac, no OB, no pediatrics - Majority of cases are Ortho, General Surgery, Vascular, Eyes, Urology, Neuro, GI - Average monthly case volume of 680 - Required procedures include Trauma and Regional Ultrasound - Care team model includes 14 CRNAs and 6 MDs - Weekday on-call physician is on-site from 7 PM to 7 AM - Backup home call physician handles post-call after a 12-hour day - Weekend call requires 48-hour coverage on Saturday and Sunday
