Sourcing Manager - Tinplate

Position Overview We are seeking a strategic, results-driven, and negotiation-savvy Sourcing and Procurement Manager to lead the sourcing of tinplate materials for our operations. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving abilities , along with the capability to build and maintain supplier and stakeholder relationships . Experience with ERP systems and e-bidding/RFQ tools is strongly preferred . Key Responsibilities Organize and manage bidding activities via procurement platforms, including the preparation of Requests for Quotation (RFQs), evaluation of offers, and collection of cost information in the market Source and qualify potential suppliers, evaluation of their capabilities Manage supplier relationships, including negotiating contracts, pricing & terms, overseeing claims, steering R&D projects Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement aligns with business needs and specifications Oversee the preparation and execution of purchase orders Identify opportunities for process improvements within the procurement function Maintain accurate procurement records, analyzing procurement performance and reporting key metrics to senior management Develop Market Intelligence, provide insights on supplier capabilities, competition, and trends Key Requirements Able to work autonomously, a self-starter who is proactive and results-oriented Strong organizational and time management skills, able to prioritize effectively Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and market trends to drive decision-making.
