Control Engineer

White Label is proudly representing an Engineering and Manufacturing business in Elland that require a Controls Engineer to join their team. My client is offering a package of up to £45,000 plus: Additional payment of £50 per night when having to work away 22 days holiday bank holidays Sick pay Pension Working hours: Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 17:00 and Friday 08:00 – 15:00 The key duties of the Controls Engineer are: Design electrical systems to control processes and machinery Design & develop Software programs for PLC, HMI, SCADA efficiently & effectively Attend site as and when required (around 20-25% of the role but project dependant) Installing electrical equipment and fault finding Ensure that manufacturing and operations comply with design specifications & contractual agreements Organise & establish control systems to monitor the performance & safety of electrical systems Responsible for compliance with relevant regulations, specifications, health & safety, and the production of RAMS Experience required of the Controls Engineer: Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role. Electrical qualifications: HNC, HND, Apprenticeship-trained, or Degree.
