We're Hiring: Agriculture and Forestry Technician Location: Askham Bryan College, York Salary: £24,483 - £26,520 per annum (SP 18-21) Are you passionate about agriculture and forestry? We’re looking for a self-driven Agricultural and Forestry Technician to join our expanding Commercial Department and support our growing range of short courses. This part-time (2 days a week) role offers flexibility and the chance to work outdoors in a hands-on environment! What you’ll do: Support the preparation and maintenance of equipment for agricultural and forestry courses ️ Manage stock control and order parts as needed Ensure PPE is in top condition Work closely with the commercial team to deliver successful courses Stay updated on industry regulations and help implement new safety practices ⚖️ What we’re looking for: Strong knowledge of equipment used in the agriculture and forestry sectors Experience with machinery maintenance, including chainsaws and tree climbing A flexible approach and willingness to learn new skills Ability to work with different teams across the college A proactive attitude and attention to detail Why Apply?
