Interim Learning & Development Specialist - 12 month contract Are you passionate about shaping learning cultures, driving capability, and building future talent? We’re looking for an experienced Learning and Development Specialist to play a key role in embedding a continuous learning and growth culture across multisite UK divisions. This is more than a training role—it's about building capability, shaping succession, and partnering across HR and operations to future-proof talent pipelines. What you’ll be doing: Designing and delivering learning strategies that support both employee development and business objectives Developing engaging, inclusive learning content (manuals, e-learning, workshops, etc.) Owning and maintaining skills matrix , training completion logs , and rolling training forecast Delivering high-impact in-person and virtual training sessions Managing learning tech and systems to streamline delivery and tracking Leading on apprentice development and managing apprenticeship programmes in partnership with HR Evaluating the effectiveness of training and using insights to improve and evolve our programmes Supporting succession planning by identifying and developing internal talent Ensuring full compliance with training regulations and standards Managing the L&D budget effectively to maximise ROI ✅ What you’ll bring: CIPD Level 7 qualification (preferably) Experience in L&D within a manufacturing or industrial blue collar workforce Knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design, and LMS platforms Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills Why join?
