Graduate Mechanical Engineer

JOB- Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer LOCATION- Cambridge TERM- Permanent SALARY- £28,000 to £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Premier Engineering is working with a forward-thinking engineering company based in Cambridge who are looking to recruit a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join their design team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate with an interest in structural analysis and mechanical design using FEA tools. The Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (BEng, MEng, etc.) An understanding of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Experience using 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar Good understanding of engineering fundamentals and design for manufacture Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities A desire to develop technically and progress within an engineering environment The Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve: Assisting in the design and analysis of mechanical systems and components Using FEA software to carry out stress and structural simulations Producing detailed 3D models and 2D technical drawings Supporting senior engineers with design reviews and documentation Contributing to product development from concept to production Liaising with internal departments such as manufacturing and quality If you are a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer looking to work in Cambridge with exposure to FEA and advanced design projects, please apply with an up-to-date CV including your availability and salary expectations.
