Job Title: School Receptionist Location: Chestnut Hill School, Holywell, CH8 9DX Salary: £20,906.25 per annum (not pro rata) Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4pm Contract: Permanent, Term Time only UK Applicants only. This role does not offer sponsorship. As part of our growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a School Receptionist to join our team at Chestnut Hill School in Holywell. About the role Work with the Head of School and Office Manager to provide a full reception service to the provision and to assist with any administrative duties which can be carried out without compromising receptionist responsibilities. Key Responsibilities To act as primary handler of incoming calls and transferring them to the appropriate people. To ensure accurate messages are taken at all times, and ensuring the appropriate person is in receipt of messages promptly and with minimum delay. To act as the front line person in welcoming visitors and ensuring that all appropriate ID and safeguarding checks are completed and verified. To ensure appropriate staff are informed of visitors arrival. To ensure that all visitors are offered refreshments. To take responsibility for ensuring any post deliveries are forwarded to the appropriate staff without delay. To meet delivery drivers and where required take delivery of goods to ensure that all deliveries are reported to the appropriate recipient. To carry out administrative support that can be undertaken without compromising receptionist cover. To develop a good working relationship with key professionals. To contribute positively to the working environment and efficient running of the provision. To maintain complete confidentiality at all times. To adhere to company safeguarding policies and procedures at all times. To undertake any other duties required from time to time as mutually determined. We aim to provide Regular opportunities for pupils to access a wide range of activities including yoga, cycling, forest school, swimming and coaching in inclusive and traditional sports by external coaches and internal facilitators. We are located in Holywell, a beautiful market town and community in Flintshire, Wales.
