The Job! Reporting to the Director of Operations and Programs, you play an essential role in the functioning of the business. You will: Manage organizational budgets, support monthly reconciliations, and generate financial reports. Review and track staff expenditures for compliance with internal financial policies. Oversee project management systems, monitor progress, and flag risks or delays to leadership. Coordinate cross-team project planning and ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures. Maintain and update HR policies in line with current legislation and internal practices. Lead onboarding, training, and scheduling for staff and volunteers to ensure operational readiness. Provide coaching and project support to teams to ensure effective and compliant program delivery. Manage daily facility operations, including safety, maintenance, and room readiness. Lead small capital projects, liaising with contractors, vendors, and suppliers. Oversee documentation and reporting and support the fiscal year planning process to meet strategic goals. What you bring to the job You are a goal-getter who is self-motivated, collaborative, and highly organized. You are passionate about the arts and seeing artists flourish. You have shown leadership potential and are keen on taking the next step. You also have the following qualities: A minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, facilities, or administration Excellent project management and coordination skills; PMP designation would be an asset. Strong communication (written and verbal), relationship-building, and negotiation skills experienced in designing and implementing operational processes Solid understanding and experience with financial management including budgets and reconciliations Working knowledge of HR functions including hiring, onboarding, and adherence to policies Experience working with diverse communities is preferred Qualified job seekers are asked to apply with attention to Rhiannon Bodman.
