Program Manager will be responsible for the coordination of various projects within each portfolio to ensure the successful achievement of the common delivery goal. The Program Manager must be influential overall project teams, ensuring cross project dependencies are accounted for in schedule and budget while coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to achieve program delivery according to approved plan. A Program Manager’s role within Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO)is to successfully integrate the plans provided by various IT and business delivery project managers managing the successful coordination and execution of large and complex project requests with regular status reporting to delivery teams, Enterprise Program Management Office, program sponsor and executive management. The Program Manager will be responsible for management of schedules, budget, and scope, reporting all deviations from the approved business case to PMO and Management as appropriate. The Program Manager will be required to perform the management functions of directing, controlling, planning and communicating with the project manager for each delivery team throughout each phase of the program delivery. WHAT YOU WILL DO Responsible for providing support, mentoring and inspiration to a portfolio team. Coordinate Annual Roadmap and quarterly alignment discuss with Portfolio Oversight Committee (POC) Collaborate with a team of information technology staff and oversee multiple projects. Build relationships with internal and external clients regarding system requirements, design and development, testing, implementation and ongoing support. Provide consultation services on proposed programs, projects, strategy, delivery processes, and escalations. Assist in developing and documenting procedures and standards. This includes identifying where procedures are not aligned with company brand and standards, and assisting the team in addressing the gap. Plan and manage technical resources across multiple projects. Prepare overall program plan Coordinate with project managers to ensure the activities of all project teams are on track Liaise between the project manager and impacted departments to coordinate program support Document all program events and milestones Prepare program budget, detailing budgets for individual project Managing risks for the programs Ensure each project follows the organizations standard procedures WHAT YOU WILL BRING Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, or Management of Information Systems preferred Certifications in project management (e.g. PMP) or in progress of working towards a project management designation 10 years working in the financial industry with at least 5 years in a management capacity. 10 years direct work experience in a project/program management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution Strong familiarity with project management software, such as MS Project, JIRA Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Understanding of vendor management Decision making Excellent communication skills Ability to influence and motivate others Conflict management ability CI Financial is an independent company offering global wealth management and asset management advisory services through diverse financial services firms.
