Dealer Principal

Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dealership, including New and Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales, Workshop, Parts, and Finance & Insurance departments. Drive profitability through effective cost management, revenue generation, and strategic planning. Develop and implement business plans and marketing strategies to achieve sales and service targets. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and promote a customer-centric culture across the dealership. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, manufacturer standards, and internal company policies. Manage, mentor, and motivate department managers and staff to achieve optimal performance. Analyze financial reports and KPIs to monitor business performance and make data-driven decisions. Establish and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, suppliers, and key stakeholders. Monitor inventory levels, ensure stock availability, and manage vehicle ordering processes. Promote continuous improvement and innovation in dealership processes and service delivery. Minimum Requirements Matric / Grade 12 A Management Degree or Diploma (essential) Minimum 5 years of proven management experience within the automotive industry Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills Excellent financial acumen and analytical ability In-depth knowledge of dealership operations and automotive industry standards A track record of successfully meeting and exceeding targets Valid drivers license
