Garment Technologist - Poetry

Are you passionate about fit, fabric, and quality down to the last stitch? Poetry is looking for a technically strong, detail-obsessed Garment Technologist to help bring our beautiful ranges to life. Youll work closely with our design and buying teams, managing everything from initial tech packs to final garment approvalsensuring every piece meets our high standards and stays true to the Poetry brand. What youll be doing: Oversee the full sealing process from development to bulk production Collaborate with design on fit, spec, and construction Manage supplier relationships and provide technical guidance Conduct fit sessions and lead seasonal reviews Maintain our block library, grade rules, and QA standards Resolve quality issues with a solution-driven mindset Liaise with local and international factories on samples and approvals What youll need: Relevant tertiary qualification in fashion, textiles, or garment construction 10 years experience in a similar role (retail experience preferred) Strong knowledge of pattern and garment construction Excellent communication and time management skills A keen eye for detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach A valid drivers license is an advantage At Poetry, were all about meaningful design and quality craftsmanshipand that starts with you.
