About the position A Marketing and Public Relations Intern assists the PR team in various tasks, including media outreach, content creation, social media management, and event support, to build and maintain a positive public image for the organization.Key responsibilities include writing press releases, monitoring media coverage, and updating media lists. Responsibilities Content Creation: Drafting press releases and other media materials. Creating engaging content for social media platforms and websites. Writing newsletters and other communication materials. Media Relations: Monitoring media coverage and compiling reports. Building and maintaining media contact lists. Assisting with media outreach efforts. Event Support: Supporting the planning and execution of PR events. Assisting with scheduling and coordinating events. Research and Analysis: Conducting research on industry trends and competitor activities. Analyzing media coverage and campaign performance. Administrative Duties: Assisting with administrative tasks, such as managing files and databases. Skills and Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field is typically preferred. Bilingual (English/ Spanish) strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of social media platforms and their best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
