Communications Specialist

Job Opportunity: Communications Specialist for EU-funded Project in Georgia NTU, as consortium leader, has been shortlisted for a new EU-funded project in Georgia: Georgia goes Green . We are seeking experts to support the core team during the project's implementation. Location: Georgia Duration: Starting from 01/09/2025 for a period of 22 months Role: Communications Specialist Professional Experience: 5-10 years of experience in designing and implementing communication strategies, leading awareness campaigns, marketing activities, and developing communication and visibility materials. Experience within EU-funded or donor-funded projects in Georgia is highly desirable. Thematic Knowledge: Understanding of environmental protection, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and green transition strategies. Familiarity with decarbonization, biodiversity, circular economy, and public engagement in sustainability. Proficiency in English and Georgian at C1 level or higher (CEFR). Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement integrated communication campaigns tailored to regional and sectoral contexts. Ensure campaigns are emotionally resonant, gender-sensitive, and aligned with EU visibility guidelines and branding. Design communication strategies including stakeholder engagement, monitoring & evaluation, and crisis communication. Produce digital and print materials such as infographics, press kits, social media content, and videos. Coordinate outreach efforts with civil society, influencers, educators, youth networks, and media. Monitor and evaluate campaign outcomes using performance indicators like VTR, CTR, CPR, and adapt strategies accordingly. Support storytelling and visibility for EU environmental and climate projects through success stories and media coverage.
