S&you, a renowned international brand specializing in Professional Staffing and the Search and Selection of Qualified Personnel, is seeking a Transport Manager for a company operating in the International Shipping sector. Our client is present in major national and international markets, working through a network of reputable partners. Recently, they have strengthened their overseas presence via active participation in global networks such as WCA (World Cargo Alliance) and CGLN (China Global Logistics Network) , ensuring comprehensive coverage of international markets. The position is based in Manoppello (PE) . Position Reporting to the Operations Director , the candidate will be responsible for optimizing the company's service machine in its road (Road) and intermodal (Rail) forms. They will also oversee the use and maximization of intermodal transport (Rail), coordinating with the Team Leaders and Rail Unit Managers . Ensure operational continuity of the service in line with customer expectations Align with company goals of profitability and development Activities include: Optimizing freight flows between Road and Rail to ensure customer service within transit times and achieving margins in line with company objectives Controlling transportation costs between Road and Rail to optimize vehicle loading priorities Constant coordination and interface with Road and Rail Team Leaders for personnel management, organization, and flow division Coordination with the Managing Director Operations for defining operational priorities and development strategies Supporting and collaborating with the KPI department on activities to improve Rail/Road operational service for key clients Coordination with the Commercial Department to ensure full utilization (Road/Rail), and to define and implement strategic and development objectives We are looking for a graduate with experience in the road transport sector and who has held roles as a Team Leader . Specializations in logistics/transportation are a plus. On a personal level, we expect individuals who approach their role with goal and result orientation, organization, and an entrepreneurial mindset. Additional Information We offer a permanent contract with direct hiring by the company.
