Control System Engineer - Internship

We are looking for a CONTROL SYSTEM ENGINEER - INTERNSHIP to support our R&D team. Would you like to have the opportunity to collaborate with us on one of these thesis proposals? 1 Virtual Driver for Off-Highway Machines Goal: -Develop event-based operator able to adapt to basic variations in workplace layout, machine capability and transmission technologies. Technologies & tools you will use: -Dynamic systems modelling & automatic controls; -MATLAB/Simulink, dSpace tools. Expected outcomes: -Simulation-based evaluation of efficiency, productivity, and operability. 2 Wheel Slip Detection in Wheel Loaders Goal: -Develop a system to detect wheel slip using vehicle dynamic data. Technologies & tools you will use: -Dynamic systems modelling & automatic controls; -Transducers-actuators interfacing; -MATLAB/Simulink, dSpace tools. Expected outcomes: -Improve overall vehicle performance; -Reduce tire wear. 3 Smart Load Estimation in ERH System Goal: -Replace load PIN sensor using estimated load from engine data. Technologies & tools you will use: -Sensor fusion & automatic controls; -Transducers-actuators interfacing; MATLAB/Simulink, dSpace tools. Expected outcomes: -Reduction of mechanical components; -Improve system reliability. Requirements: The ideal candidate is a student in Informatic/Electronic/Electric/Aerospace Engineering with passion and curiosity for the industrial sector, both on and off road. We are looking for a dynamic and determined person, with good communication skills and problem solving oriented. A good knowledge of the English language and familiarity with Office package and IT tools are required.
