We are seeking a passionate individual to lead the design and implementation of electrical and mechanical building services for high-profile developments across a range of sectors including healthcare, education, commercial, and transport. You'll collaborate closely with clients, engineers, and wider project teams to ensure that innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions are delivered on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with clients to define detailed mechanical and electrical building services requirements and develop comprehensive reports reflecting their needs. Conduct Options Appraisals and present clear, justifiable recommendations for client sign-off. Manage and mentor internal engineers and graduates, ensuring technical excellence and on-time delivery. Collaborate effectively with architects, quantity surveyors, and structural/civil engineers to align project goals. Qualifications & Skills: Essential: Degree in an engineering discipline (with potential to achieve Chartered Engineer status). Experience in managing substantial, multidisciplinary construction projects. Proven ability to work within ISO9001 Quality Management Systems. Strong working knowledge of electrical systems and relevant British/Scottish standards. Desirable: Chartered Engineer status (or working towards). Understanding of mechanical systems and low carbon/renewable technologies. Awareness of planning legislation and compliance. Why Join Us?
