Electrical Technician

Job title: Electrical Craftsman Job Type: Contract IR35 Status: Inside IR35 Start date: Subject to clearance Duration: 12 Months Pay rate: £21.78 PAYE (Umbrella rates of pay also available) 33 days paid leave Location: Preston (5 days on site) Hours of work: 40 hours per week 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Friday Role information: - Install, terminate, and test new electrical equipment (e.g., motors, drives, sensors, control panels etc). - Install and calibrate instrumentation devices (e.g., thermocouples, pressure transmitters, flow meters). - Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and instrumentation issues during commissioning. - Commission and start-up electrical and instrumentation systems. - Diagnose and repair faulty electrical and instrumentation equipment. - Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems. - Maintain accurate records of all works performed Qualifications/Experience Required: - Diploma or Apprenticeship in Electrical or Instrumentation - Strong experience in industrial maintenance and repair - Diagnostic skills - Proficient with electrical testing equipment - Certification in Safety UK National Security Vetting Status – All candidates must be Eligible to obtain SC Clearance Interested in this position? please click “apply now” We try to respond to all applicants, but sometimes this is not possible due to high volumes of applications; if you have not heard from us within 14 days, regrettably it means you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.
