Production Operator (12-Month Fixed Term Maternity Cover) Location:Milbrook, Larne Work:Onsite Working Hours / Shifts: 40 hours per week Monday & Wednesday: 07:4516:30 Tuesday & Thursday: 07:4519:45 Fridays off Duration: 12-Month Fixed Term, Full-Time Contract About Millicent Pharma: Millicent Pharma is a global pharmaceutical company focused on Womens Health, dedicated to improving patient lives through innovative product development and delivery. Job Summary: The successful candidate will manufacture and package pharmaceutical products according to written procedures under supervision, ensuring performance targets are met in compliance with Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety regulations. The role includes working under Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) using proper techniques and equipment and completing all necessary documentation accurately. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate manufacturing equipment Perform manual handling tasks including transferring raw materials Maintain high housekeeping standards in production areas, including room/equipment cleaning and waste disposal Complete batch documentation accurately and legibly in accordance with GMP Adhere to manufacturing procedures for finished goods Assist with maintenance and calibration of equipment Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Management Complete designated training assignments Engage in individual development and continuous improvement programmes Follow company Health & Safety policies Comply with all aspects of the Millicent Pharma Quality System Promote a culture of quality and embed quality system appreciation within the production team Contribute to a positive team culture: trust, respect, communication, expertise development, and leadership excellence Essential Criteria: GCSE English and Mathematics at Grade C or above (or equivalent) Minimum 1 years experience in a production or manufacturing environment Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written) Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work effectively as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel Right to work in the UK Desirable Criteria: 5 GCSEs AC, including English, Mathematics, and a Science subject (or equivalent) Further qualifications in Maths, Science, or Engineering Experience in the pharmaceutical or food industry GMP experience Proven ability to prioritise tasks and meet targets Note: Please ensure your CV clearly demonstrates how you meet both the essential and desirable criteria.
