What you do on a typical day as Shiftleader Instruct the team leaders at the kick-off to start the shift. After the shift you discuss important topics from the shift with your colleagues to make sure the handover goes smoothly You monitor the available capacity of the entire department and, together with your team leaders and coordinators, track the productivity of each individual department You also guide the team leaders and coordinators in constantly creating a good team and ensure that any bottlenecks are removed You support HR with monitoring absenteeism, follow up leave requests, check and approve time- and clocksheets You assess the employees from your shift and monitor the quality delivered by your teams during your shift Take into account the logistical planning and the established KPIs Identify bottlenecks, look for solutions and initiate improvement Reflect on the delivered results with your team leaders and go over what went well and points that need improvement next time Together with your team you think up and work on projects, LEAN/Kaizen, which you implement and ensure an adaptation of working methods that is supported by all teams.
