Electronic Hardware Engineer

Hardware /Power Electronic Design Engineer  Randburg Our client specializes in the development of systems for the Military, Mining, Railway, and other commercial products. Our client requires a Junior Hardware Engineer to join our expanding engineering team. With operations in South Africa and the United States, the company is a high-growth company serving the railway, defence, mining, and commercial truck industries.  The company does the complete design and manufacture of advanced electronic systems, supported by in-house SMD production, PCB assembly, embedded systems development, and precision CNC machining.  This position is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer looking to gain broad exposure to power electronics, embedded hardware, and product development.  Requirements BEng in Electronic or Electrical Engineering 0–2 years of relevant industry experience or internship experience Solid foundation in analog and digital circuit design Familiarity with embedded microcontrollers and programming concepts Exposure to PCB design software (e.g., Altium, KiCAD) is advantageous Enthusiasm for learning and a strong problem-solving mindset Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment  Responsibilities Assist in the design and development of embedded and power electronic systems Contribute to schematic design, PCB layout preparation, and basic circuit analysis Support prototyping and testing of hardware modules Assist in component selection under guidance from senior engineers Participate in EMC-conscious design reviews and evaluations Collaborate with firmware and production teams during system integration Contribute to documentation and quality assurance processes  Apply via www.edrecruiters.co.za or submit your CV to cv@edrecruiters.co.za (Ref: 3743) Only SA citizens may apply :
