Our client are seeking a proactive Broker Secretary to join their dynamic team, specializing in long-term insurance . Minimum requirements: Matric Minimum of 2 - 3 years working experience in the Insurance industry Valid driver license and own vehicle or reliable transport Fluent in Afrikaans and English Computer literate Duties and responsibilities: Administrative Support: Handle all secretarial and office administration tasks for the broker or advisory team Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and coordinate client appointments Maintain and organize electronic and paper-based filing systems Client Communication: Serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries via phone, email, or in person Assist clients with general queries regarding policies, documentation, and application status Follow up with clients to obtain missing information or documentation Policy Administration: Prepare, process, and submit long-term insurance applications and documentation Ensure all compliance requirements are met, including FICA documentation and recordkeeping Track policy applications from submission through to issue, and update clients on progress Liaison and Coordination: Communicate with insurance providers to obtain quotes, follow up on applications, and resolve issues Coordinate with underwriters, service providers, and internal departments as needed Assist in claim lodgment processes and follow-ups Data Entry and System Maintenance: Accurately capture client data and update policy information in the relevant CRM or insurance platforms Maintain up-to-date records of client portfolios and ensure data integrity Document Management: Draft client letters, policy summaries, and other standard correspondence Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive client information Reporting and Compliance: Assist in preparing compliance reports, audit checklists, and internal reviews Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies Skills required: Administration and organisational skills Communication skills Client service orientation Insurance industry knowledge Technical skills Problem solving Confidentiality and integrity Adaptability and initiative Remuneration: R 10 000 (Negotiable) Work hours: Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 17:00 IMPORTANT: Applications close 30 June 2025 Only applications submitted via the Ditto Jobs platform will be considered Only candidates who are shortlisted will be contacted No social media messages / comments will be responded to
