Pipe Fitters x2 (2month Contract)

Installation and Repair: Pipe Fitters install and repair piping systems, ensuring proper connections, alignment, and functionality. Fabrication: They fabricate piping systems, including cutting, bending, threading, and welding pipes to precise specifications. Testing and Maintenance: Pipe Fitters test piping systems for leaks and malfunctions, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. Blueprint Interpretation: They read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to design and layout piping systems. Equipment Operation: Pipe Fitters use specialized tools and equipment like pipe cutters, threaders, and welding machines. Safety Compliance: They adhere to safety regulations and protocols while working with machinery, at heights, and in confined spaces. Formal Training: A recognized trade certificate (Fitter/Fitter Machinist/Fitter and Turner) is often required. Apprenticeship: Completion of a pipe fitting apprenticeship program or equivalent experience is highly valued. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of pipe fitting techniques, materials, and safety standards is essential. Practical Experience: Experience in pipe fitting, including supervision, is often required for higher-level positions. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and solve problems related to piping systems. Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
