As the Head of AI, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of artificial intelligence strategies within Danske Bank UK. This role involves overseeing and leading cutting edge AI projects, driving innovation, and ensuring the seamless integration of AI technologies to enhance business operations, support growth and enable corporate strategy. Your skills: Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role: Degree Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field Advanced programming knowledge Deep understanding of AI technologies, machine learning algorithms, and data analytics Experience of working with major technology/AI platforms, including Cloud Experience of AI dev ops and infrastructure Software development experience Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage teams Experience in strategic planning, project management, and fostering a collaborative environment Ability to align AI initiatives with business goals Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in providing technical direction and removing technical blockers Experience of presenting to large audiences Experience of working with and influencing executive and Board level forums Experience of driving innovation and staying abreast of industry trends Focus on compliance with data privacy regulations Experience of strong risk management and governance Flexibility to adapt to changing technologies and industry trends Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Preferred: Experience in AI strategy development and implementation within the financial services industry Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and data protection strategies How we work Our belief is that we are "Better when Together" and want to balance the benefits of teaming up in person with flexible working where possible.
