OPERATIONS MANAGER - PORT ELIZABETH, EASTERN CAPE

RedCat Recruitment is seeking a qualified and experienced OPERATIONS MANAGER for a large concern. Position based in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. JOB DESCRIPTION Grade 12. B.Eng or BTech in Chemical Engineering (Chemical Engineering qualification is preferred. Civil and Mechanical will be considered depending on relevant experience). Valid Code 08 drivers license / own reliable vehicle. Competent computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Previous employment in a similar position is essential. 3-5 years previous working experience in advanced water treatment. Experience in RO, UF, Precipitation, Clarification will be an advantage. Previous staff management experience. Understanding of plant health and managing water treatment assets. Person will be responsible for the overall plant / facility management, operations and maintenance, whilst ensuring optimal operational plant performance and product production in accordance with set KPIs, product specification and quality conformance of the water treatment plant(s) within the area of responsibility.
