Senior Mine Planner

Description: Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mine Planner to join their dynamic mining team in Gauteng. As a Senior Mine Planner, you will be responsible for designing and implementing strategic and operational mine plans, ensuring the efficient and safe extraction of minerals. Responsibilities: Create and optimize short-term and medium-term mine plans Ensure Zero Harm culture through compliance with SHE policies, standards, and governance. Lead by example in SHE standards and operational campaigns. Conduct regular safety and operational inspections with prompt remediation. Define team roles to maintain effective performance. Develop rolling plans with stakeholders to align with business goals. Schedule resources for mining activities to meet targets. Requirements: Grade 12 Hons Degree in Mining Engineering/Geology or related field 5 years' experience in underground mine planning Extensive experience in geological modelling software (Minex) and mine planning software (RPM Global - UGCS) Valid Driver's License Benefits: Salary: Negotiable Paid Time Off (PTO) (If Applicable) Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
