Schools & College Operations Supervisor

The Schools & College Operations Supervisor involves overseeing the operational delivery of the Schools & College package in Aosta / Pila. They are the team leader to the Schools & College Co-ordinators, both full-time and part-time, to assist with questions, support, and team welfare. The Schools & College Operations Supervisor will receive planning information from the Schools & College Planning Supervisor, with whom they will need to maintain a strong working relationship. They will meet and greet party leaders and clients daily, liaising with them to ensure smooth operations throughout the week. The Schools & College Operations Supervisor will motivate, support, and monitor the Schools & College Co-ordinators, ensuring they understand their roles, responsibilities, and deliver the Interski product to high standards, providing ongoing training throughout the season. They will visit hotels and après-ski events to ensure supplier satisfaction and that Interski standards are upheld. The Supervisor will also monitor the Schools & College WhatsApp group. Supervisors are expected to remain available to their team and clients at all times, primarily via phone, to provide support and guidance, attending in person if necessary, regardless of the time. Given the seasonal nature of the role, team members are expected to work up to five months with one scheduled day off per week. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Meeting and greeting party leaders and clients daily to ensure smooth operations Motivating and supporting the Schools & College Co-ordinators Monitoring the delivery and performance of the Co-ordinators through hotel visits and attendance at various meetings and check points Monitoring the Schools & College WhatsApp group SKILLS Exceptional customer service Excellent communication and organizational skills Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and quick learning of bespoke CRM systems Friendly, positive, and personable demeanor Flexibility and adaptability to change Proactive problem-solving skills Responsibility and ownership of tasks Ability to remain calm under pressure Leadership and team-playing skills Passion for skiing and / or snowboarding REQUIREMENTS Criminal Record Disclosure / DBS / Police Check - ESSENTIAL Team leader experience – ESSENTIAL Over 21 years old – DESIRABLE Driver’s license & willingness to drive manual vehicles – ESSENTIAL Fluent in English - ESSENTIAL Conversational Italian – DESIRABLE CONTRACTOR PACKAGE Contribution towards travel expenses at start and end of contract Training programme at start of contract Shared accommodation in shared apartment or hotel Option to live out with a £400 / month allowance Meals provided (lunch during the season) Uniform including ski jacket, trousers, gilet, and polo shirts Lift pass for Aosta / Pila and other resorts as needed Insurance coverage (travel, medical, public liability) depending on nationality One day off per week On-snow training sessions Pre-approved time off during non-peak weeks Team engagement activities and social events Wages of £1700 per month on a contractor basis NUMBER OF ROLES AVAILABLE One (Aosta / Pila) WHERE YOU CAN DO THIS ROLE The full-time Schools & College School Operations Supervisor role is based in the Aosta Valley, Italy, with duties in Aosta / Pila and occasional requirements in La Thuile, Courmayeur, and Gressoney. The Holidays Co-ordinators support the Ski Holidays market in La Thuile & Courmayeur, while the Holidays Supervisor oversees the operation across all resorts, including Aosta / Pila, ensuring smooth delivery of services for adult groups, families, solo travelers, and corporate groups.
