PRODUCTION ENGINEER - NEWCASTLE, KWAZULU-NATAL

RedCat Recruitment is seeking a qualified and experienced PRODUCTION ENGINEER for a large concern. Position based in Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal. JOB DESCRIPTION Grade 12. B.Eng or BTech in Chemical Engineering. Valid Code 08 drivers license / own reliable vehicle. Competent computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Previous employment in a similar position is essential. 3-5 years previous working experience in an engineering or production related field. Experience in RO, UF, Precipitation, Clarification will be an advantage. Previous staff management experience. Understanding of mechanical engineering principles, as well as electrical and instrumentation exposure. Person will be responsible for the overall technical support to the operations team, providing the necessary technical expertise and implementing appropriate actions to ensure efficient operation activities, whilst ensuring optimal operational plant performance and product production in accordance with set KPIs, product specification and quality conformance of the water treatment plant(s) within the area of responsibility.
