Job Description
Overview The Sales Leader is customer-obsessed with strong product knowledge and visual presentation skills. They implement and follow store business plans and ensure operational processes are executed through collaboration with the Store Manager and team. This role serves as a role model and provides guidance to the team in delivering excellent customer service to maximize sales. The position requires a high level of comfort in building rapport through customer and team interactions. Responsibilities Lead, support, and promote customer selling in both in-store and online (ship to store) shopping experiences. Foster a customer-obsessed culture that emphasizes selling behaviors by proactively Greet, Re-engage, Educate, Add-on, and Thank each customer. Understand your role in sales growth and how you contribute to store profitability. Use interpersonal skills to read cues and respond appropriately to create an exceptional in-store experience. Educate customers about loyalty programs, current promotions, and merchandise to support basket building. Represent the brand by treating all customers and co-workers with respect and professionalism, supporting a common goal. Lead by example, support, and hold the team accountable to all company policies and procedures. Execute Manager on Duty (MOD) responsibilities, including opening/closing procedures, team supervision, and other related tasks. Assist with freight processing, maintain an organized stockroom, execute merchandise presentation directives, and ensure inventory accuracy. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED; college preferred. Minimum 1 year management experience in retail or service industry preferred. Strong communication skills and customer selling experience required. Energetic, results-oriented, competitive, with a drive to succeed. Valid Driver's license. Ability to handle and transport company funds securely to designated bank locations. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings. Ability to interpret company directives, handbooks, and manuals. Flexible schedule to meet store needs. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to ascend/descend ladders and retrieve or stock products. Frequently stand, move around the store, and assist customers.
