Job Description Job Description JOB DETAILS: Title: Nurse Manager Location: Lancaster, CA Job Type: Full-Time Nurse Manager We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Manager to oversee acute dialysis services in a hospital setting. This role involves patient care management, coordination with nephrologists, and adherence to dialysis protocols to ensure high-quality treatment. Key Responsibilities: Perform and oversee acute hospital dialysis treatments , prioritizing patients as needed (ICU, ER, floor). Maintain clear communication with nephrologists regarding patient updates and treatment plans. Ensure accurate documentation of all dialysis procedures in medical records. Respond to acute dialysis calls within 4 hours , following hospital protocols. Monitor dialysis equipment , troubleshoot alarms, and follow operator guidelines. Provide medication administration, blood product management, and laboratory services per hospital policy. Adhere to universal precautions and aseptic techniques in all procedures. Coordinate staff scheduling , ensuring coverage for patient dialysis needs. Participate in unit meetings, compliance procedures, and professional development initiatives . Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing . Current RN license in California. Minimum 3 months of dialysis experience ( critical care or acute dialysis preferred). BLS and ACLS certifications required . Schedule & Work Conditions: Full-time position , covering three dialysis patients per scheduled shift. Flexible shifts from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with on-call responsibilities . No multiple dialysis treatments simultaneously —patient focus is prioritized. Standby shifts may involve clinic support, staff training, or dialysis unit maintenance .
