Whether you’re early in your career or building toward a senior role, this opportunity offers genuine hands-on learning, technical mentorship, and exposure to a wide range of project types across the South of England, Midlands, and Wales. We work on a wide range of projects, from residential developments, local authorities and mineral extraction to commercial infrastructure, giving our team members broad experience in a short time. What You’ll Do As part of a supportive and experienced team, you will: Carry out site contamination assessments (Tier 1–3) Undertake geotechnical and geo-environmental site investigations using a range of techniques Conduct infiltration testing, ground gas, and groundwater monitoring Manage site activities and liaise with contractors Schedule contamination, geotechnical, and waste classification laboratory testing Write factual and interpretative reports, with mentoring to support your growth Maintain good site health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) practices Manage your own time efficiently and work with increasing independence over time You will report to a Senior Engineer and benefit from additional mentoring from senior staff. While support is always available, you will be encouraged to take ownership of your work and develop your confidence and autonomy.
