Job Opportunity: Continuous Improvement Specialist – Operations Area For the Italian plant of a leading German company, active worldwide in the high-end business-to-business comfort components sector and industrial applications, part of an international group, we are seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist – Operations Area . Reporting to the Italian CEO, this role will manage the production activities of the Italian site, collaborating with the Production Manager and their team to enhance performance and processes through continuous improvement initiatives. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a graduate in Management Engineering (or a related field such as Engineering, Physics, or equivalent) with some experience—short but meaningful—in operations roles (production scheduling, procurement planning, Lean Production). They should have a strong aptitude for continuous improvement, organizational experimentation, and initiative-taking. High-potential recent graduates with strong inclinations for this role will also be considered. Key Responsibilities The role primarily involves, but is not limited to: Ensuring optimal efficiency and effectiveness of production departments by identifying organizational actions aimed at continuous performance improvement, focusing on: Order fulfillment times for customers, Production order fulfillment times. Main Tasks and Duties Assist the existing team in: Reviewing daily incoming customer orders; Assessing technical feasibility and planning production to meet quantities and delivery times; Issuing production orders for various work centers to fulfill customer orders and stock policies; Providing Production Managers with a production schedule covering at least three weeks and necessary documentation; Monitoring production progress across work centers and ensuring alignment with plans; Informing Customer Care and Procurement departments of any changes affecting the production schedule and rescheduling orders accordingly; Creating bill of materials and processing cycles in the Enterprise System for new products, verifying data with Technical Office when necessary; Verifying and updating existing bills of materials and production cycles in the system in coordination with Technical and Procurement offices.
