This job description details the characteristics and tasks of the Lighting Designer position. The ideal candidate is a graduate in architecture, industrial design, engineering, with a background in electrical engineering or a master's in lighting design. The candidate will work in Milan within the Lighting Design Department and report to the Technical Manager. Main Job Responsibilities: Providing technical support to Architects, Lighting Designers, Engineering Firms, and end customers in developing lighting solutions tailored to their needs. Managing technical specifications and economic evaluations for public and private tenders. Teamworking. Making effective technical presentations. Communicating with the HQ in Germany (English required) regarding technical specifications and custom products. Organizing mockups and managing warehouse activities. Skills Required: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in architectural lighting design. Strong knowledge of lighting principles and standards. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Good knowledge of CAD software; BIM knowledge is a plus. Advanced knowledge of Dialux Evo; Adobe Creative Suite/Photoshop skills are a plus. Native Italian speaker with proficiency in English, both verbal and written. Other Requirements: Car owner willing to travel domestically and abroad for meetings.
